DUMITRU GORZO

“HEADS” featured 50 large-scale paintings by Romanian artist, Dumitru Gorzo. The public art exhibition was curated by Marek Bartelik and installed on 9 building exteriors in Red Bank, NJ. Gorzo’s varied styles, layers of abstraction, and focused on expressive, allegorical, strange, satirical and futuristic heads representing the universality of the human experience and the struggle resounding today for people throughout the world in a fight for human rights and freedom of expression.


It’s All American

NEW PERSPECTIVES OF AMERICANA

New Jersey Museum of Contemporary Art presented its inaugural exhibition “It’s All American” in more than 12,000 square feet of temporary pop-up space at the historic Convention Hall in Asbury Park. Curated by Haley Mellin and Alex Gartenfeld, the Museum brought together 37 local and international artists whose practices explore the artistic and folk traditions that characterize Americana.
